Rise as One is a prestigious, professionally-operated travel basketball organization. We serve third through twelfth grade players from the Northern and Central New Jersey communities. We are based in The House of Sports, one of the largest private gyms in the area. Our goal is to transform committed players into successful high school and college players through the spirit of opportunity and competition.

Rise as One operates year-round and our certified, professional coaches are always available to provide college-level direction for our players and teams. We advance athletes to higher levels through a variety of age-specific skill development programs. Our management team is made up of full-time professionals who are extremely dedicated to producing the best experience for every player and their family. With effort, dedication, talent, and team spirit, we Rise as One.

DETAILS

The Spring AAU season begins in March and concludes in early June. Both the league and tournament games are held on weekends. Spring AAU consists of a 1-hour Basketball Factory skill session and two to three practices for 2-3 hours each week. Players will also take part in film-room sessions in order to show where they have made progress and where they need to improve. All practice sessions will be held at our own facility, The House of Sports.

Our program offers a competitive advantage because we utilize drills that are professionally organized and game specific. We fine tune the details of your child’s fundamentals skills and equip them to take their game to a higher level. At Rise as One, we place a great amount of emphasis on concepts such as dribbling, footwork, court awareness, shooting form, floor spacing, and change of direction. These skills are necessary for an athlete’s improvement and development as a basketball player. We also introduce players to high-intensity practices and develop their mental toughness in order to prepare them for higher levels.

Rise as One strives to keep our program affordable so that anyone with passion and skill can benefit from what we offer. Spring season fees will be between $495–$895 per player. Cost depends on the number of tournaments and the level of your son or daughter’s team. We offer payment plans for families who cannot afford to pay the full cost up front.

UNIFORM

Each player is required to purchase an Under Armour Rise as One kit from our store. We subsidize part of the cost so the price is $90. This is in addition to the registration fee. Players can keep the uniforms they purchase.

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT

1

TOP NOTCH COACHES

Our success starts with our outstanding coaching staff. The quality of our coaches sets Rise as One apart from our competition. We pride ourselves on our highly-skilled staff. Our team consists of present and former collegiate athletes as well as top high school coaches. We are the only organization which requires all coaches to be certified by USA Basketball, NFHS, NCAA ECAG, and the Positive Coaching Alliance as part of our commitment to quality coaching.

2

BEST SKILL TRAINING

Rise as One’s premier training program is The Basketball Factory, which offers year-round training for players. The Basketball Factory is an elite program that utilizes a disciplined, focused approach that improves a player’s decision making, strength, speed, agility, defense, individual offensive skill, and more. Our comprehensive program is geared towards success and it guarantees improvement.

3

PROGRAM CURRICULUM

Rise as One strives to prepare every athlete for long-term basketball success. In order to do this, each player must develop a solid foundation of the basics of basketball. We develop a player’s fundamentals while teaching them how to apply these skills in practice and game situations. Our Rise as One curriculum is consistently implemented by all coaches throughout the entire organization.

4

UNDER ARMOUR GEAR

Rise as One is very proud of our partnership with the Under Armour brand. We believe that representing such a prestigious sporting brand boosts our level of play and highlights the quality of our organization. Game uniforms, bags, socks, T-shirts, hooded sweatshirts, and practice uniforms are all Under Armour brand. This partnership excites us and it underscores our achievements and commitment to excellence.

5

WE OWN OUR FACILITY

Rise as One has a large advantage over other AAU organizations because we own our own facility, The House of Sports. Having our own facility is instrumental in our player development because it allows for more freedom and flexibility. We can dedicate more time to practice because we do not have to schedule around other groups. Ultimately, this gives us the time and opportunity to focus on the details that will help turn your child’s fundamental skills into high-level success.

6

PRACTICE PRACTICE

You cannot cheat the game. There is no substitute for putting in hours of practice. Since we have the luxury of owning our own facility, we offer two or three practices per week for 2-3 hours each. This is more practice time than any other program in the area offers. We know that commitment is the only way to succeed. Therefore, we dedicate a great deal of attention to practice and the process of improvement.

7

EXPOSURE & COMPETION

Competition is what basketball is all about and it is what makes an athlete better. Rise as One provides significant opportunities for high-level competition. We offer players the opportunity to play on both the local and national level. Our top-notch schedule gives our talented athletes exposure and the ability to shine. Our goal is simple: prepare athletes for the highest levels of basketball competition, including possible college recruitment. Our level of competition allows us to accomplish this goal.

8

STRONG PARENT SUPPORT

We know that success on the court goes beyond practice and training. To be successful, an athlete also needs to a good support system at home. Therefore, Rise as One has developed a truly inclusive culture which creates bonds between our staff, the players, and their parents. We encourage parents to buy into our organization and philosophy. When everyone is on board, we can further develop the environment of excellence that we strive to create.
